 Melvin AC Howell is a visionary choreographer, creative director, performer, author, and multidisciplinary artist whose work transcends genres and mediums. From global stages to intimate studios, from written word to visual art, his career is built on one driving force: the relentless pursuit of purpose through creation.

With over a decade of experience in the performing arts, Melvin has choreographed and performed for world-class companies, including Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Disney, and Showstopper Dance Conventions, and has worked with acclaimed artists such as Moses Sumney and Sylvan Esso. His choreography and productions have garnered national championship titles, sold-out shows with year-long waitlists, and features in international publications.

Melvin is the founder of HĂS Dance University, a global dance education platform dedicated to empowering dancers through authentic Afro-inspired movement, commercial dance training, and dance as a tool for mental, emotional, and spiritual healing. As the founder and managing partner of Antwan-Christopher L.L.C., he also serves as a creative brand strategist—helping artists, studios, and businesses elevate their communication, marketing, and revenue systems with purpose-driven precision.

On November 2, 2025, Melvin released his debut memoir, From a Nobody to The SOMEBODY, a raw and poetic chronicle of perseverance, faith, and transformation written in real time—during the climb, not after it. The book captures the emotional and spiritual essence of his journey from poverty to purpose, proving that success isn’t about validation but about becoming.

Expanding his creative universe, Melvin is also the mind behind The Echo Before I Break, an upcoming immersive art exhibition exploring the intersection of emotion, motion, and memory. He is currently developing a portfolio of dance productions, film projects, and television series that continue his lifelong mission—to create work that inspires conversation, connection, and courage.
